Functionality:
This small device is a "radio transmitter" and is connected to one or two conventional buttons by cable.
As soon as you press a button, the button interface sends a radio signal.
"Radio receivers" assigned to the button interface react to the radio signal and carry out their function, e.g.:
- Switch light on/off.
- Dim the brightness of the light or switch it on/off.
- Open or close roller shutters (blinds).
You therefore need at least one radio receiver in addition to the button interface:
These can be so-called "actuators" for switching, dimming or for controlling the shutters, or e.g. Philips Hue or IKEA lamps in which the technology is directly integrated. You can obtain the practical actuators from NEXENTRO together with the button interface directly from us.
Retrofitting without conversion: Depending on the space available, the device is installed in the wall socket behind the momentary button or at another point in the power circuit. Thanks to radio technology, no new cables need to be laid.

IMPORTANT: Make sure that the connection is not made to an on/off switch, but to a momentary switch. On/off Switches and momentary switches can look the same, but there are technical differences: Momentary switches (push-to-make) automatically spring back into their initial position when they are released while on/off switches snap.
